If you know anything about me, you know that I always have my headphones on or nearby. I am slowly becoming deaf and my headphones are becoming smushed from overuse, but I refuse to stop. I am a conscious music addict and I don’t care! Music has been a part of my life for so long. I used to play classical piano from the ages of 5 to 17. I have freaking synesthesia and I can hear colors in musical tones!
Now what is the point of sharing this information? This is a chopped way of explaining my qualifications. But I am not here to apply for music yapper (my dream job), I am here to tell you all to listen to “Charm” by Clairo.
There is no external motivator for me to promote this album. I am not getting paid; Clairo isn’t flying me out for a VIP meet and greet (Claire Cottrill, please.) I just truly like the songs on this album so much that I want to yap about it. Let’s get into the top five.

Clairo’s voice is melodious and peaceful. Her humor and passion shine through her excellent lyrics. She is a true artist and I am truly obsessed with her. Fun Fact: Clairo loves Playboi Carti. ME TOO. She is an amazing, genius mastermind and even though she didn’t win the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, SHE WON IN MY HEART. “Charm” goes Triple Platinum in my room and it should in yours too.
I don’t care what kind of music you listen to. Listen to this.
